![]() If anyone can help me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. However, this has been going on for well over a month and I have no had any correspondence suggesting this is actually being corrected. Previous agents said that this would be looked in to and didn't suggest this option, as I assumed it would be fixed. After discussing the issue with an agent over the phone, they suggested I post this issue on EA Answers for support. However, Origin will prompt that I must use the EA app and gives me no other options, so I can no longer go back to Origin to download the game again. One agent directed me to an Origin download link to try using that instead. Most suggested me to try the troubleshooting options from the articles listed previously. I have contacted EA support multiple times using their email, chat and phone options. I have tried the troubleshooting steps as outlined here and here, done a clean boot of Windows, did an clean install of Windows and even tried downloading from a different location entirely, but the issue still persists. No other game on my account has this error (including both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, both of which are also not the Legendary Editions). This has worked fine on Origin, but when I had to use the EA app after doing a reinstall of Windows, this started to happen. ![]() It happens anytime I try to download the game on the EA app. When exactly does the problem occur? / Where exactly does the problem occur? When attempting to download it, the Download Options window will appear extremely briefly as it tries to calculate disk space, but will then show the error message listed above. ![]() Mass Effect 1 (2007, not the Legendary Edition) will not download from the EA app on PC (Windows 11). Something went wrong during your download.
